Abstract :
An analysis of the use of the Finite-Element Method for modeling high-frequency steady-state AC problems is presented. A specific skin depth automatic mesh generation algorithm in two dimensions (2D) has been developed. For the calculation of global quantities as impedance, three kinds of current equilibration algorithms are presented. Their use on Flux-Expert package is compared on two-dimensional (2-D) axisymmetrical geometry with Integral method results
