Abstract
The paper presents a comparative analysis of different theoretical iron losses evaluation techniques, coupling finite-element calculations and material modeling. This coupling can be performed at different levels: as a postprocessing step or inside the nonlinear solution loop. Comparisons on an induction machine structure are performed and results are compared and discussed
