Abstract
Measurements have been used in the analysis of a digital radio communication system, IEEE 802.11p, for vehicle applications. The analyzed system consists of two IEEE 802.11p nodes and to obtain repeatable measurement results the RF ports of the nodes were connected with cables to each other. The susceptibility to interfering sources with CW, AM, FM and Pulse modulated signals has been investigated. The result shows a higher susceptibility to interfering signals when applied to pilot rather than data subcarrier frequencies. For CW and FM the total received rms power of the interfering signal correlates to the PER, not the single peaks.
