Abstract :
Announcement has been made to the Chamber of Commerce of the American Road Builders´ Association Convention January 9th to 13th, 1928, at Cleveland, Ohio. Special headquarters will be maintained at the Public Auditorium and at the Hollenden Hotel for visiting city officials, and they are invited to register and make use of headquarters during the Convention. Attendants will be in charge at all times, and William R. Hopkins, City Manager and Chairman of the City Officials´ Committee, will gladly receive all inquiries of those interested. This will be the largest exposition of Road construction and road maintenance machinery and materials ever held including over 300 carloads of the latest machinery, equipment and materials. Papers will be presented of special interest to city officials who are urged to attend and take part in the discussion of various subjects presented by carefully selected authorities. There will be a “Pan-American Day” a portion of which will be given over to highway problems in North and South America, and in the evening, the delegates from Pan American countries will be the guests of the American Road Builders´ Association at the Annual Banquet.
