Abstract :
Half wavelength, axially magnetised, ferrite filled, cylindrical cavities with electric, magnetic or open side walls all exhibit hybrid dominant modes with split radial wavenumbers. The geometrical dependence of the frequency splitting is studied for each case under the same magnetic conditions.
