Abstract :
The performance of a digital enhanced cordless telecommunications (DECT) receiver in a static channel is studied. The theoretical results are then compared with computer-based simulations. The following issues were investigated: bit-error-rate performance of the differentially coherent detector with and without decision feedback, performance of both the frequency offset estimation from the DECT preamble, and the signal-to-noise ratio obtained from both the DECT preamble and the data field
