Abstract
We present a small printed antenna with broadband impedance and axial ratio (AR) characteristics. The antenna consists of three sequentially rotated shorted equilateral patches, with excitation phasings of 0°, 120°, and 240°, respectively. The measured 10-dB return loss and 3-dB AR, bandwidths of the compact antenna are 31% and 27.5%, respectively
