Abstract :
According to the Frequency Allocation Table, in the frequency range 10.7-11.7 GHz, on the surface of the Earth, only Fixed Services (FS) of the Point to Point type can operate. This frequency range has been also used, for a long time, by Satellite Broadcasting (BSS). Here, the satellite TV emission is present of the analog standard (at rather small contribution now) and also of the DVB-S and DVB-S2 standards. For this reason, there exist a risk of interference of the Earth TVRO (Television Receive Only) by the radio relay transmitters operating in this band. The preparation of the scientific basis used for modeling and analysis of such interference is a subject of this paper.
