Abstract :
A new diversity scheme, termed maximum path resolution (MPR) reception, and applicable to multipath radio channels. Is introduced. The technique exploits the frequency diversity of a spreading signal received via a multipath channel by applying aperiodic inverse filtering in such a way that the path with the greatest power is enhanced, while the others are effectively cancelled. The technique is analysed in the context of a CTDMA system and its performance is verified via simulation
