Abstract :
A new window family is introduced, whose normalised half mainlobe width falls between those of rectangular and Hamming windows. The proposed window has two variable parameters by which the mainlobe width and the sidelobe levels can be controlled and used for many digital signal processing applications. This window is compared with a Kaiser-Bessel window, and a tanh window
