Abstract :
In the presence of pointing errors, a robust beamforming method is suggested which finds a new steering vector based on the Taylor series expansion of the one initially given. The problem of finding the new steering vector is formulated as the closed form of a generalised eigenvalue problem, which allows one to readily solve it. The proposed method can deal with a wide range of pointing errors.
