Abstract :
Two scaled mesh reflector electric models have been constructed for the design of a 30 m diameter large deployable antenna. Radiation characteristics of the antennas have been measured and compared with calculated results. The similarities between measured and calculated results are very close. The cross-polarisation level especially is considerably low.
