Abstract :
Recent Certification Corner columns have focused on the constant and continuing efforts that the WCET team is expending to update existing program materials (the Candidate¿s Handbook, the WEBOK, etc.), as well as the many new wireless communications education and training offerings from ComSoc (short courses, online tutorials, etc.). The updating is important because the WCET program was created with a commitment to remain current with contemporary practice in all aspects of wireless communications technology. The educational opportunities are equally important, providing a service to wireless practitioners who need to keep their knowledge of the field up to date.
