Abstract :
A design methodology is presented to investigate the kilohertz magnetic field focusing behavior of a single-defect metallic loop array. The delta function is employed to model the curl of the current distribution on the array. This distribution allows us to obtain multiple spikes in the magnetic field in the vicinity of the array. The analytical results agree with simulation results obtained using the method-of-moments-based software FEKO. An approximate expression for the magnetic field focusing effect is also presented along with physical insight.
