Five-Year Goals of EMBS [President's Message]

I´d like to use this column to discuss the strategic plan of our Society, which will provide a framework for the development and implementation of new initiatives for the next five years. Our long-term goals are twofold: 1) to make IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society (EMBS) the society of choice for biomedical engineers to publish, present, network, and advance their careers and 2) to make the EMBS a symbol of quality, value, and opportunity.
