  • Abstract
    In the above titled paper (ibid., vol. 53, no. 9, pp. 1455-1461, Sep. 2005), the probability of error was computed for APD receivers. Due to an unintentional error, the square-root was omitted from the expression for the error rates in Eqs. (13) and (20). The correct expressions are presented here, as well as corrected Figs. 1-4.
