Abstract :
Sometimes you might find it difficult to see the thread on a mercury-glass thermometer. How much more difficult it would be to read if you had poor sight or were even blind. As a project for a oneyear AS course in electronics, I set myself the task of building a thermometer which would work independently of sight.
