  • Abstract
The 3-D magnetic field is simulated inside the Chi-Kung double-layer (DL) plasma reactor under the influence of an added transverse solenoid. Ion beam deflections of up to 26° are measured in the x- z plane. The simulated field suggests that the 3-D shape of the ion beam accelerated by the DL will be preserved.
