Abstract :
Spatial resolution of Distributed optical fiber temperature sensor (DTS) system has a great effect on the applications. The principle of spatial resolution is briefly introduced in this paper. An experiment system is presented to test the value of spatial resolution. A method to compensate the spatial resolution while the value has not meet the requirement is proposed and been proved effective to improve the spatial resolution.
