Abstract :
The world´s IT systems are generating more data than ever in the history of human ingenuity. And, to make things worse, we are keeping a heck of a lot of it. Data is easy and cheap to produce, and people like producing it. Doing so resassures our sensibilities; it leaves us feeling like we are really doing something.
