  • Abstract
    It has been experimentally demonstrated that the proposed multiple-input and multiple-output (MIMO) processing compensated for the crosstalk of a super high-density multi-carrier signal consisting of two optical polarisation division multiplexing (PDM) quadrature phase shift keying (QPSK) sub-carriers. Precise frequency spacing of synthesised optical local oscillators has been applied to the proposed MIMO processing. The experimental results show that the sub-carrier spacing can be reduced to 78% of the baud rate of the PDM-QPSK sub-carriers.
