Abstract :
Designers of modem wireless communication systems are widely considering the employment of space division multiple access (SDMA) technology as a means of increasing the capacity of their systems. The authors derive a theoretical expression to calculate the blocking probability resulting from use of SDMA technology in two different schemes of channel allocation. The expressions obtained describe the case when two users share the same channel at the same time
