Abstract :
A new circuit technique is presented to achieve extended low-frequency operation for integrated circuit amplifier stages in which the maximum value of decoupling capacitor is restricted by processing technology limitations. Details are provided of a wideband heterojunction bipolar transistor (HBT) 50 Ω output buffer stage for a photo preamplifier which embodies this new active decoupling technique for bandwidth extension
