Abstract :
The paper deals with the conception of parts numerically modelled for a pulse powered virtual cathode oscillator. More concretely, this study presents the design of the anode and cathode of the oscillator and analyzes experiments carried out to verify numerical results related to the pulse powered generator. The design of the numerical model is based on the boundary condition of the relativistic electron beam effect known as the Cherenkov effect. Numerical and analytical models of the generator parts were built and, simultaneously, experimental laboratory verification of altered vircator designs was realized.
