Abstract :
Cold atmospheric-pressure plasma jets (APPJs) have been the topic of much interest recently. An understanding for most of the plasma generation and jet mode operation has been developed using glass as the tubing material. We are showing the operation of APPJs in flexible Teflon tubings. This material is important not only because it allows the plasma device to be flexible but also because it is commonly used in the medical industry. Therefore, even if jet mode operation is not achieved, plasma with a low gas temperature and confined to the inner side of the tubing is highly desirable as a potential cleaning tool.
