Abstract :
A novel classification method for aerial LiDAR data is proposed. It is implemented by maximising the marginal probabilities, inferred from a Markov random field which models the neighbourhood and altitude difference between surface patches extracted from LiDAR points. Experiment results show the proposed method can classify the LiDAR data properly.
