Abstract
An autoranging circuit for digital voltmeter without range resistors is presented. The circuit uses a microprocessor-based time-averaging technique. This technique can achieve an accuracy comparable to a 41/2 digit DVM in 5-decade range. An autozero and autopolarity circuit is also presented.
