  • Abstract
The instantaneous frequency of a frequency-modulated signal may be estimated using the zero crossings of the signal. Furthermore, the procedure is simple and gives good results when only samples of the signals are available and when the signal-to-noise ratio is above about 12 dB. An example is given.
