  • Abstract
In the above short paper (see ibid., vol.IM-30, p.296-9, 1981), the experimental result shows that frequency varies approximately from 380 to 1000 Hz for a variation in temperature from 0°C to 70°C with RcRT0=0.23. The author suggests that there is a large discrepancy between the theoretical and practical results leading to the doubt whether circuit output calibration can at all be predicted from theoretical design equations. The same is also applicable to other values of (Rc/RT0). The author also points out that very good linearity can be obtained in a still wider range of temperature compared to that reported by the authors. The authors of the original article analyse the discrepancy in the theoretical and experimental values. They also claim that the linearisation technique proposed is straightforward and offers a reasonably wide range in comparison with other techniques.
