Abstract :
A framework for real-time congestion management under a marker structure similar to the newly proposed UK trading arrangement is presented in this letter, in which not only resources in balancing market but also some bilateral contracts can be dispatched if necessary. The linearized model of a modified optimal power flow (OPF) is proposed to implement such a framework. A 5-bus test system is used to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
