All papers presented at the 1982 IEEE Workshop on Applied Time Series Analysis, sponsored by the Adaptive and Learning Systems Technical Committee of the IEEE Systems, Man, and Cybernetics Society, are summarized. The diverse topics in time series examined by the Workshop should be of interest to many readers of the Society´s Transactions.
