  • Abstract
    For the original paper see ibid., vol. 35, no. 1, p. 505-7 (1999). The commenter considers that a recent paper by Lovatt and Watterson on the energy stored in permanent magnets was based upon some erroneous assumptions. He presents these comments in an effort to explain some aspects about the energy exchanges in a magnetic circuit containing a permanent magnet.
