Intelligent wheelchair using head tilt and mouth shape

Proposed is an intelligent wheelchair (IW) for the severely disabled, where the direction of the IW is determined by the inclination of the user´s head, while the stopping and starting are determined by the shape of the user´s mouth. Since this mechanism requires minimal motion, the proposed IW is more comfortable and adaptable for the severely disabled.
