Abstract
An original method of shape optimization has been developed to improve high-power high-frequency transmission lines´ performances. This method is based on the coupling coefficients equations, for which general expressions are given. It makes use of numerical methods such as steepest descent associated to adjoint state technique. The results obtained on several types of components demonstrate the pertinence of this method
