Abstract :
In this issue, “25 Years Ago” revisits the column “Some Industry Views on Control Use” by William F. Powers, IEEE Control System Magazine, vol. 7, no. 6, pp. 2023, 1987, which contained an article that summarized the answers William of Ford Motor Company obtained from a questionnaire that he had sent out to industrial representatives.
