  • Abstract
    In a recent correspondence Handel (see ibid., vol.43, p.3070-1, Dec. 1995) provides an alternate analysis to that of Clarkson et al. (see ibid., vol.42, p.2370-9, Sept. 1994) of Kay´s linear predictor frequency estimator. We take this opportunity to clarify our result and emphasize the care needed when analyzing the performance of a nonlinear estimator.
