Abstract :
In this letter, constructions of zero-correlation zone (ZCZ) sequence sets over the 8-QAM+ constellation are presented. The resultant ZCZ sequence sets have flexible parameters and are optimal with respect to the Tang-Fan-Matsufuji bound in some cases. These ZCZ sequences over the 8-QAM+ constellation can be used in quasi-synchronous CDMA (QS-CDMA) communication systems to remove the multiple access interference (MAI) and multi-path interference (MPI).
