Abstract :
A contact lens with one LED that is powered wirelessly with radiofrequency (RF) is built. The conventional contact lenses made up of polymers are integrated with control circuits, communication circuits, and miniature antennas using custom-built optoelectronic components that include hundreds of LEDs. The lenses are successfully tested with live rabbits and can be a multipurpose, whether used as biosensors, displays, etc.
