Abstract :
The IEEE has proven its ability to carry on effective and complementary technical, professional, and educational programs at the same time. We can point to our record in all of these areas with a great deal of pride. However, there is always room for improvement. The following points represent my thinking on some of the issues now confronting the IEEE.
