Abstract :
This book is based on the author´s lecture notes for sixth- and eight semester students of electrical engineering at the Universitat Karlsruhe in Germany from 1972–1976, a course given by the author at the University of Washington in 1975, and a summer course at the Centro de Investigacion del Instituto Politecnico National in Mexico City in 1976. Although there are several books on sensitivity, including textbooks in control and systems with chapters on sensitivity, this is the only textbook intended to be at the introductory level devoted exclusively to sensitivity theory. It is a welcome addition to the literature.
