Virtual reality and 3D computer models are becoming an essential part of an engineer´s tool box. Models of new designs can readily be produced using CAD packages. But how can the benefits of on-screen design be applied to existing structures? In this paper, the author explains how photogrammetry can provide a cost-effective answer
