Abstract :
A new set-up of a small Cs clock has been successfully experimentally tested. The short-term stability (2/spl times/10/sup -12/) and the long-term stability (3.5/spl times/10/sup -13/ for a day sample time) have been measured. Only one laser is needed without any frequency shift device. The light frequency shift caused by diffuse light was calculated and measured.
