Abstract
An accurate method for analyzing dielectric covered waveguide slot arrays with nonzero wall thickness is presented. The method is based on an integral equation formulation which results in the evaluation of the slot´s parameters such as self-admittance and resonant frequency. This formulation is supplemented by a simple model to correct for the resonant frequency shift caused by the finite thickness of the walls. Results derived using the above method are compared to available experimental data and are in excellent agreement
