Abstract :
Randomness plays an important role in secure communications. Instead of high SNR, the goal is to make signal small and fluctuations large. Statistical analysis is performed to determine signals and fluctuations in a recently proposed key exchange protocol. Ensemble averages and probability density functions are obtained. The dependence of signal on transit time is determined. Factors contributing to fluctuations are identified. Results may lead to the optimization of the protocol.
