Abstract :
Every year in the early summer, our Society´s largest annual conference event, MTT Microwave Week, takes place. It features three conferences—RFIC, IMS, and ARFTG, a very large industry exhibition, and a large number of workshops, panels, special sessions, etc. Over the years, we seemed to be including more and more activities in the Microwave Week. Sometimes it makes people feel exhausted and they find that more brain power is needed to digest all the new information collected throughout the week. Nevertheless, that´s a good sign and we love to see it. It means our Society is growing with more technical activities. In an economy of uncertainty and vulnerability, it is encouraging to see more people attending the conference and exhibition. As we like to say: it is good to be busy.
