Abstract :
For pt.I see ibid., p.39-43. In part 1, the chopper with time ratio control scheme has been considered as an ideal switch and the effects of commutation circuit have been neglected. In this part, the chopper circuit is analyzed in detail by a modern technique. The effects of the commutation circuit parameters on the successful operation of the circuit and on the torque-speed characteristics are investigated. Experimental results are in agreement with the theoretical results.
