  • Abstract
    In this paper, the analysis and research is made on the range and speed of the land-use change in urban fringe areas of Hongta District, Yuxi City, Yunnan Province from 1990 to 2010 and the spatial distribution characteristics of the land use based on the related data acquired by GIS and RS, on this basis, the driving force of the land-use change in urban fringe areas of Yuxi City, Yunnan Province is analyzed, so as to provide the reference for the related departments to monitor the change in land use pattern and the optimization of land-use mode.
