Review of IEEE medals, recognitions, technical field awards, and AES society awards

The Aerospace and Electronics Systems Society (AESS) members may be particularly interested in the following IEEE Medals and Recognitions, Technical Field Awards and AES Society Awards. IEEE Medals and Recognition nomination deadlines are 1 July, the IEEE Technical Field award deadlines are 31 January and the AESS Award deadlines vary and may be found on the AESS Awards website: http://ieee-aess.org/ membership/awards. A complete list of the IEEE Awards can be found at: http://www.ieee.org/about/awards. In future issues of this magazine, the authors will provide additional details on the current AESS awards, one at a time, starting with the Pioneer Award. Here, the AESS Awards Chair gives a complete list of the IEEE awards to give an overall perspective and then we will focus strictly on our own AESS awards. Note that there are conference awards for best papers, etc. and other conference awards sponsored by the conference co-sponsors not listed herein, but will be covered when details of the various AESS conference awards are provided in the future.
