  • Abstract
The concept of a joint analysis of an electromagnetic, thermal and mechanical processes in a pulsed magnet coil is discussed in this paper concerning the connected models which are under development by the authors group. The main feature of the approach applied is the attempt of a synergetic consideration of connected processes in 2D models, mainly axisymmetric, using a properly grounded simplification. The goal of investigation is to build a coherent picture of conductor destruction and to define the pre-conditions of destruction. A numerical solution of the connected electromagnetic and thermal processes were used by authors for the area of structural micro-defects of conductor. Some criteria of destruction are under consideration also presented.
