  • Abstract
Held in the early months each year, the society´s Aerospace Conference covers the latest advances in the field while providing a forum for many topics of interest to the community at large as well as being of great use by introducing and reporting on areas that are usually overlooked, if not under-reported. An example of the latter was presented by the inserts we carried in 2011 highlighting the Junior Engineering and Science Conference, JESC, that has been held in tandem with the Aerospace Conference for over seventeen years. [The JESC has, for unfamiliar readers, provided a reviewed structured forum for presenters from primary through high school.] A non-aerospace topic, of seemingly unrelated-to-the subject type, presented by David Scoll (NASA) and Bill Nelson (JPL) at the 2012 conference was Low Cost Telepresence at Technical Conferences. What follows are excerpts from their Introduction and Conclusion.
